These roll-a-dance activities are designed to help your students create dance phrases as per the “Creating and Presenting” expectations in the Ontario Dance Curriculum. For grades 1 & 2, these activities focus on body and space. They are perfect for using after you have introduced each concept and want to provide a chance for students to practice. Due to the element of choice using the dice, you can use them more than once and still have a valuable experience through additional practice.

This Halloween Dance Freebie contains:

One activity with simple prompts (for grades 1 & 2)
One activity with interesting but more difficult prompts for slightly older students (grades 3 & 4).
The problem with the dance curriculum in most schools is that the teachers being asked to teach it have no prior dance education or experience.
