Why choose A Christmas concert theme?
When you don’t choose a theme for your Christmas concert, it ends up being a mish-mash of songs and skits that don’t go together – and often, the same songs end up getting used over and over.
A great Christmas concert theme helps you choose songs that will go together well, makes decorating easier, and creates a more thoughtful and cohesive presentation for your parents.
What to do with these Christmas concert ideas?
You don’t have to have students sing a song in order to use it as part of your Christmas concert theme. Play instruments, create a dance, pantomime skit, magic, or even a fashion show. Personally, I love a more “variety show” style concert that puts together a lot of different skills and talents. Use your creativity to incorporate these song ideas in different ways and you’ll have a Christmas concert that holds your parents’ attention!

THe Christmas Cafe Concert Script
The story takes place in a curiously-themed restaurant, “The Christmas Café”, in which all the menu items are inspired by lyrics from Christmas songs. On Christmas Eve the traffic is slow due to the weather, and the waiter is impatient to close up for the night. Just when the Manager gets ready to give in, a customer enters… and that’s where our story of second chances really begins.
The show is approximately 30 minutes in length. Small cast of spoken characters and 5 songs. There is also a religious concert or pageant version.

Christmas Countdown Concert Script

For each number in the countdown there is a song and/or vignette for the students to perform. This script is great for letting lots of kids have a moment to shine, whether singing, acting, dancing, or even physical comedy.
The Gift – Christmas Concert script
What do you get the child who has everything? Tinsel the elf likes everything neat, organized, and by the book, so they don’t know what to do when the North Pole receives a letter that doesn’t fit the usual rules.
