Halloween Music Lesson – A Musical Mystery Activity for Grades 4, 5, 6

This fun and low-prep Halloween music lesson is perfect for all your upper elementary music classes. No lesson plan required – just print and go, and watch your students review basic music theory while solving an engaging mystery!

First, students will read the original Halloween story that introduces the mystery. Then, they will use their knowledge of music theory to complete puzzles that will reveal the clues. Finally, they will use those clues to solve the mystery. (Think of it like a paper-based, individual escape room activity.)

The music theory used is based on grades 3 and 4 so this package can be used as a review activity or sub tub plan up to grade 6. All pages are completed using black-line images so that early finishers can also color the characters.
